e-RFQ, Electronic Email Request for Quote

 

A powerful function of the Virtual Distributor platform.

 

Links your customers to you and your distributors.

 

Permits incoming RFQ's from customers and generation of out-going Quotes/Proposals.

 

e-RFQ works with MS Outlook Express. When the RFQ button is activated, e-RFQ automatically queries you, do you wish to attach a copy of the configured product drawing file to the email. You can selection the drawing file format 2D, 3D, Solid Model.

 

If you select yes, the Outlook Express email window opens with the drawing file attached.

 

 

The RFQ section is automatically filled in with the configured product part (model) number and the part information detail. If your systems has the Specials feature activated, the information on which variables and dimensions were changed is noted. This permits true Engineered-to-Order products.

 

The customer can add any required information to the email or just CLICK SEND.

 

The e-RFQ is sent directly to your companies specified email address.

 

If the Virtual Distributor system was activated from one of your distributors web sites the e-RFQ is sent directly to them for quote and a copy is sent to your companies specified email address. (more on this at Links from your distributors web sites, delivers e-RFQ to you and your distributors)
